Accessibility
Everyone should be able to board
We want this website and our office to work for every family. This page is maintained by Southwest Pediatric Dentistry and describes what we do today and how to reach us if something is in your way.
On this website
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and review the site as we add pages.
- Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast.
- Every page can be navigated with a keyboard, and focus is visible.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text for screen readers.
- Headings and landmarks are used in order so assistive tech can skim the page.
- Layouts reflow for phones, tablets, and zoomed-in browsers.
- Motion and parallax effects are decorative and never required to use the site.
At the station
Tell us what your child needs when you schedule and we will plan the visit around it.
- Ground-floor suite with accessible parking and step-free entry.
- Wide hallways and doorways for strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs.
- Quiet, low-stimulation appointment times available on request.
- Extra time and desensitizing visits for children with sensory needs.
- Interpreter arrangements can be requested ahead of your visit.
Found a barrier? Flag it for us.
If any part of this site or our office is hard to use, we want to hear about it. Tell us the page or the situation and we will help you directly while we work on a fix.
